Tampa, FL — August 28, 2025 — Gator Capital Management today announced that, effective August 28, 2025, the ticker symbol for the Gator Capital Long/Short Fund has changed from COAGX to GATRX.
The ticker update is reflected across all major market data platforms as well as shareholder account statements as of the effective date. Existing shareholders’ account numbers and holdings remain unchanged.
The Gator Capital Long/Short Fund is actively managed according to a long/short equity strategy focused on small and mid-cap companies where the manager believes a premium can be earned through specialized sector knowledge and deep fundamental research. The strategy is long-biased and concentrates on the manager’s highest-conviction ideas. Portfolio construction, including industry allocations and overall net exposure, is the result of bottom-up security selection rather than top-down target allocation.
“This ticker change helps align our fund with the Gator Capital brand and makes it easier for investors to identify us in the marketplace,” said Derek Pilecki, Portfolio Manager at Gator Capital Management.
